A third consecutive win, this award is a testament to all the brilliant people who work here, both across our studios and remotely!
Over the last 12 months, our teams have utilised their talent and individuality in incredible ways to further our unique Ripstone culture and build on our commitments to mental health, well-being and diversity.
Ripstone team members Sharon, Gary, and Jamie were in attendance in London for the GamesIndustry.biz Awards Ceremony on the 27th of September 2023. We recently caught up with some of the team for their thoughts on what makes Ripstone a special place to be…
Jenny Hurley, Ripstone’s Head of People, said “This is an incredible achievement for every single one of our people. It shows that the ongoing work we do to create a strong sense of belonging, where no masks need to be worn is helping to build a special environment we all love.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve taken this to the next level, further refining the culture and games into something that we are all genuinely proud of.
This third win doesn’t mean that we’re going to get complacent. We’re more motivated than ever to further our commitments and ensure Ripstone remains one of the best places to work for many years to come.”
From the very beginning, Ripstone has prioritised creating workspaces that employees genuinely enjoy. We’ve worked diligently to foster inclusivity and now we work to continuously enhance it.
Central to this effort is our commitment to inclusiveness. We’re passionate about ensuring that our colleagues can express their true selves. We firmly believe that enhancing well-being and diversity, not only at Ripstone but in the games industry as a whole, is of immense significance. It not only leads to happier and more imaginative individuals but also reflects in the excellence of our work.
Ripstone’s ‘Best Places to Work 2023’ Day Off!
Last year, as a small thank you for making Ripstone the best place to work, all staff were given a special day off.
The catch? Each member of the team had to spend it on something truly important to them.
From volunteering at charities and lending a hand at local stables to spending quality time with family and staying in with games, we were amazed at the variety of things our team got up to!
So, we’ve decided to make this an annual thing, too!
Our entire team will have the day off on 10th November 2023 to do whatever it is that matters to them.
